Starting Pay: $20.76 + tips
Our state-of-the-art kitchen, located in Magnolia, is designed as a lab-style production space. We balance traditional gelato making spirit with advanced food science. Our services includes a robust retail, wholesale, and catering.
Minimal kitchen experience required. We will teach you the process and skills throughout a training period. The ideal candidate is excited to learn about the process and history of Gelato making.

- Pasteurizing and Cataloging gelato base.
- Gelato production.
- Ingredient intake and inventory.
- Facility upkeep and cleaning.

Responsibilities:
- Event set-up and breakdown.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, and carry catering related equipment and tools.
- Cleaning and maintenance of catering related equipment and tools.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with Catering Planner.
- Communicate catering needs clearly and respectfully with kitchen and assist kitchen team in final prep.
- Excel in customer service.
- Own a vehicle, maintain a clean driving record, and travel to various private and public event sites.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Expertly suggest gelato and sorbetto flavors based on guest preferences, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Be familiar with all menu items, including espresso beverages and pastries.
- Greet customers warmly, offering samples and making personalized suggestions.
- Prepare gelato and coffee orders with care, aiming for a delightful service experience.
- Keep the store tidy and well-stocked, adhering to cleaning schedules.
- Monitor product quality and consistency to maintain high standards.
- Maintain open communication with coworkers and management about inventory and any operational issues.
- Support a positive work environment by being respectful and cooperative.
- Demonstrate a coachable and adaptable attitude, especially during policy changes.
- Approach challenges with a positive mindset, helping to manage busy periods effectively.

Store Lead
Our Store Lead is responsible for our Front of House operations and takes on hiring and training for our store staff, handles inventory ordering and management for the location, creates team schedules, and other leadership duties in order to successfully grow the business and prioritize a world class customer service experience.
We are looking for dependable people with a proven track record of great leadership to join our team and grow the business with us. Culture is a big part of what we do at Nutty Squirrel Gelato, and our leaders exemplify this at their core.
Duties for our Store Leader role include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling and Staffing Assistance
- Inventory ordering
- Waste Management
- P&L (Monitoring sales and store financial health)

- Ensure team members are in compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures
